Lola Adeniran is first generation Canadian, born and raised in Calgary, AB. She is of Nigerian-Jamaican descent and thoroughly enjoys using her sense of humor to help navigate her way through Canadian “culture”, while infusing the values and traditions from her own.
Lola loves photography, freelance writing, reading, politics, movies, and art. Enjoys travel, learning about other cultures, and sharing these experiences with her family and friends. Her future plan is to own her own business offering specialized services in media from writing, photography, and design.
Lola graduated from SAIT Polytechnic’s Journalism program, and is looking forward to her internship with Global Calgary.
