Emilio is a charismatic French, English and Spanish speaking Latino from Ottawa, Canada. He has worked at the community French television station called TV Rogers channel 23 in Ottawa. Emilio was producing and directing television shows that focus on Franco-Ontarian content. He is currently working as a freelance videographer/director for independent local production companies.
La Cité collégiale, located on the east side of Ottawa, is one of few French’s colleges in Ontario. This is where Emilio spent four years of his life earning two different certificate, one in general arts and science studies, the other in pre-media studies and ultimately gaining his two year college diploma in television broadcasting. He was recognised as an all-star player and received academic and sporting awards for his enrolment with the La Cité collégiale Coyotes soccer team.
Emilio was raised in Canada by Salvadorian parents to which he recognises, respects and understands the difficult choices and sacrifices they had to make do to the civil unrest. The difficult decisions his parents took had the soul purpose giving him and his sister a better quality of life here in Canada. For his parents, Anival and Miriam, Emilio expresses his love and is forever grateful.
